Baby portraits

Last week we finally got around to getting professional photos taken of Ruby. If I really had my act together, I would have gotten one of those photography packages that includes maternity and newborn sessions. Maybe next time we will try for it, but it is not an easy task to invite a professional photographer into your home in the first 2 weeks post-partum. I definitely wanted to do the baby portrait session for Ruby before she turns 1 year old, so that she is still in fact a baby. After much photographer research, I decided on Lindsey Stafford. She's posted a few pictures from the shoot on her blog as a preview. The second photo gives you a pretty good view of Ruby's teeth nubs!
